Locally, Peter is chair of the Dingwall and Seaforth Leader Local Action Partnership.

He is a member of SNP defence working group.  

Born in Glasgow Peter has lived in the Highlands near Munlochy for sixteen years.

He is a married father of three with one child in primary school and one at Fortrose Academy.

He holds an Honours Degree in Politics and Sociology.
